Chateau O’Brien Pours at Great Grapes in Reston

Chateau O’Brien at Northpoint participated in the fall Great Grapes Wine Festival at the Reston Town Center on September 12th & 13th.  The 2006 Virginia Chardonnay, 2006 Northpoint Red, 2007 Northpoint Rose, and 2008 Virginia Apple Wine were poured at the event.  During tastings at the winery, the O’Briens use crystal glasses and change between the white, reds, and sweeter varietals - which is impossible at any festival.  Still, in an effort to stay true to providing a good customer experience, they provided a rinse with filtered water and gourmet bread for cleansing the palette.  When visitors purchased wine from Chateau O’Brien they were also offered baguettes and Irish cheese that could be enjoyed in the wineries hospitality tent that overlooked the stage where the band performed.  Thank you to all who stopped by and visited the winery’s tent!
