Pruning For a Cause

On August 29th and 20th, Chateau O’Brien co-hosted a chili event to help raise funds for Habitat for Humanity - the second is a series of fundraising events.  Three different varieties of chili were served and all three pots were emptied by the end of Saturday.  The “chefs” were at it again on Saturday night to prepare more for the next day.  Almost 120 quarts of chili were prepared and consumed!! 

The two day event was an overwhelming success, raising almost $4,000, which will be used toward the construction of a new home in Warrenton, VA.  The prior fundraising event raised almost $1,200.
